Sebastian Haas is an award-winning photographer from Kiel, Germany, with around 20 years behind the camera, between analog and digital, preferably on Leica. His eye was shaped on the other side of the stage: with his two event agencies BLOW Events and WE STEREO and event series like STEREO SLAP, TOMORROW CAN WAIT and TOO MUCH TOO YOUNG, he produced events with up to 2,500 guests himself before photographing them.
Sebastian Haas lives with ADHD. What means overstimulation in everyday life is his tool behind the camera: he notices details, light and moments before others do, and thinks on several tracks at once, in the viewfinder as in code.
Professionally, Sebastian Haas works for a global technology company in the field of artificial intelligence, in research and development on large language models, RAG architectures and agentic systems. He evaluates use cases, benchmarks models and designs robust, trustworthy AI pipelines with a consistent security-first approach in highly regulated, mission-critical environments.
What sets him apart is the intersection: as a trained offensive security specialist he performs adversarial testing of ML and LLM systems, attacking AI before others do, and contributes to AI governance and the implementation of the EU AI Act. His research interest is autonomous offensive security, the point where artificial intelligence meets red teaming.
Sebastian Haas holds a B.Sc. in Cyber Security (completed alongside his career) and more than a dozen professional certifications, including Certified Red Team Lead and Operator (CRTO I & II), Practical Network Penetration Tester (PNPT) and the Practical Artificial Intelligence Pentest Associate (PAPA), one of the first AI pentesting certifications available. His path led through IT infrastructure, live broadcast productions and public-sector digitalisation. Two worlds, one standard: the moment when everything is right. In the viewfinder as in the system.
